You guys have been busting me up. Will the bathtub be used for swimming or as a holding tank for rock lobsters?

Built 20 years ago, renovated a different house almost 2 years ago. I like Kohler (not because I’m from WI). Cost factor and quality. Definitely go with the 18"/chair height toilet- regardless of your height (a 4’9" lady has no problems). We like the handle on the side not the front. We replaced the plastic seats with wooden ones- so much nicer when you use the throne for sitting on to do nails… We had manufactured marble 20 years ago, this time I went with Corian with molded sinks- no grooves to get grungy or hard stone to break things. I like Delta faucets- we like single lever, simple styles. Dislike rain showers- an angled spray reaches more body surfaces and with better pressure. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

I’m 5’8". I hate the “comfort height” toilet we put in our guest bath. It’s too high. Wooden seats? Ewwwwww, if I can’t Clorox it, it’s not near the toilet.

Another vote for GardenWeb, they have discussed every possible choice in every possible bathroom configuration.
