Another waitlist question

<p>I would love to go, but the cheapest bus that goes to Cleveland (one bus only... gets there at 1 AM) is $120 round trip for one person. If I go with my sister (IF she is willing to go), it would be $240. Since there aren't any on-campus accomodations, I would also have to pay for a hotel.</p>

<p>My family is pretty poor, but I want to do something to increase my chances. I want to take a risk, do something nobody else is doing. It's a hard decision... I personally think it'll help... but to what degree?</p>

<p>Does anyone know the statistics of getting into the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor off of a waitlist? I am an Asian female from California, if that helps. </p>

<p>Also, UMich is my top choice right now, because if I don't get in, my only other options are UCSB and UCI (because I really do not wish to attend my other safety schools). I'm pretty much willing to do whatever it takes to get into UMich. Any advice?</p>
