I know those jumpsuits wouid look horrid on me. They’d be schleppy. The ones in Marilyn’s link (especially the two on the Asian models ) wouid work much better with my figure. But, to each her own.
@BunsenBurner, I love pashminas and own quite a few of them. I almost always have one with me.
My budget is $200. I’ve seen some pantsuits that would fit the bill if they weren’t navy blue or black.
@marilyn, nice link! Yes, the taupe outfit is the right color but I need something less flowy, especially on the top. I will either wear a wedge since the reception is in the grass or flats (my last resort, I want some height!)

Marilyn, what a wonderful site. The royal blue is exactly what I have envisioned for D’s future wedding.
I will also consider having a seamstress make a pants suit as long as I have a really great picture.
I know this was discussed elsewhere–jumpsuits looks smashing but are a pain if you need
to use the WC. I had a gorgeous hot pink one decades ago but undressing in a public restroom
was a pain.
Ok, @mathmom, I found this jumpsuit on the Adrianna Papell site marked down more than $100. Nordstrom still had it at regular price. The problem is there is no petite sizing. I think I’ll see if Nordstrom has it so I can try it on. Then I’ll order it from the Papell site. I have a wonderful alterations person. Perhaps, Nordstrom will price match??

I bought a gorgeous DVF jumpsuit for NYE a couple of years ago and wore it several times since then. It was not an issue… I have a strong bladder and don’t go to the little girls’ room often.

Does anyone else think the Adrianna Papel jumpsuit with the jet beading is a little dressy for a “country chic” wedding?
IMO, it might be a bit too dressy, but I looked at the practical side of it: if the OP does not normally wear country chic, she could end up with an outfit that is going to go into the donation pile after one wear. This jumpsuit can be definitely worn on other occasions! Classy.
It is a little dressier than I want it to be. I’d prefer little to no beading and I wish there was a different color. However, I do like the style and I would wear this again. I’m considering that the wedding and reception are late afternoon into the evening and it is taking place on a ranch in a very manicured garden. Not the barn look, at all.
