<p>If you end up as a general bio major, you’ll still need chem courses, which are VERY rigorous. I’d recommend taking both bio and chem - both classes were invaluable to my friends that are biochem/bio general/bioeng majors in terms of adjusting to the science courses in college. Bs in an AP class are also worth more than As in regular classes.</p>
