Any advice or tips as someone applying to east coast BS?

Hey, I’m a current student at Lawrenceville and our theatre program is great! This year we’re currently doing Les Misérables in the fall. We get to work hand ons with set, lighting, sound and pretty much anything imaginable. Students often ask the faculty if they could partake in something, and the answer would typically be yes (we had students programmed and designed lighting, props, costumes, set in the past year alone!). There’s also an option for an apprenticeship with the faculty in the fall, and opportunities to do independent study and design something in the winter & spring. It’s all very student-led. The technical theatre community here are one of the best thing that I got out of my Lawrenceville experience.

I’m not too sure about sports as I am not as involved in them, but I know there are various students who are tri-varsity athletes and was still able to manage doing theatre. We also have a large amount of new sophomore coming in every year so your onboarding experience will be a lot more efficient. Happy to answer any more questions!
