Caltech is one of those few colleges where you have to get top notch SAT scores and grades to even have a chance of admission. U need to gain at least 8 more pts in ACT and ace math and science 34+. As for SAT IIs, 750+ are preferable. From what I’ve seen, techers are insane test takers. As for ECs, self teach is nice (I do that too). However, Please note admission is vastly different for Stanford and Caltech. The nature of your candidacy would make you much better for Stanford, which values individuality and essay. However, it seems like you’re a long way from having a decent chance of gaining admissions at top colleges.</p>
