<p>I am not sure if you got into Columbia HEOP or not, but your stats were pretty good and you had a good chance of getting into HEOP. My stats are very similar to yours and I got into Columbia through HEOP. I guess it all counts on the competition of the year you are applying and how many qualify for HEOP that year. </p>
<p>Future Columbia applicants, if you get a call saying you qualify for HEOP, take it as a good sign and a good chance of being accepted into Columbia through the program. From what I heard there are more or less 60 seats reserved for HEOP students in Columbia. 30 for the Columbia College and 30 for the Fu Foundation Engineering School. I am warning you though that there is a rigorous summer program involved that lasts about a month.</p>
