<p>USC said that they reserve spots for incoming freshmen so that they don’t get totally taken by the rest of the school. Also, they close registration off for everybody else so that only THOSE people at orientation can register.</p>
<p>Your son should be fine. He should get all of the courses that he needs (he might / might not get the GE that he wants, but oh well).</p>
