Oh wow, thanks for the update.
When I had my reaction I asked my doc for some Valium. I knew that if I could just relax my jaw and sleep well I would turn the corner. It took two nights to get me out of the pain and reaction.
So now I will confess that I caused my S to have tartive dyskinesia after he had his wisdom teeth removed at age 19.
A memory I clearly suppressed? until this response.
I knew he would be extremely nauseated with his pain meds ( 4 impacted teeth). I asked the dentist and was told he could have compazine too. The second day I realized his mouth was spastic. The ER doc nor my H doc knew what was causing this. I figured it out from my past work with clients years before. We then knew to give him Benadryl.
A short time later he was fine. (Dentist busy covering himself. Neither doc H nor ER doc put it together ).
So my confession is to ask you if there is anything to give her such as there was for my S.
