<p>ah, so you are reading madame bovary, too? i really disliked the characters in that book, although the book itself was a fair read. we read the french version in french class and then the next year we read the english version. not too much different, really, except for some descriptions that are hard to translate into english, because of their connotations.</p>
<p>oh, apparently madame bovary is really good material for AP Lit and Comp essays…</p>
