Georgia Tech may be a high match/low reach for both acceptance and merit. CS there is very good but competitive to get in and more so for OOS. I don’t recall the details but there is a full or close to full ride scholarship, as well as a scholarship that will bring costs down to in state level for OOS kids(both are extremely competitive). I believe you have to apply early to be considered for scholarships. May be worth it to do the research and get more information.
As for the colleges on your tentative list, both Purdue and Ohio State are likely to be a match with merit based on your kid’s stats, Vanderbilt and USC also seem to be within reach with merit based on the results we saw last year with DS and his friends(similar stats and CS).
