Michigan is probably more selective than Texas and UDbub…statistically anyway. The OOS acceptance rate is under 20%, and the average SAT/ACT score is 1430/32. RPI and Rochester are also quite selective.
I think good CS programs that are slightly “less selective” than those are Maryland-College Park, Purdue-West Lafayette and Wisconsin-Madison.
