Any insight into ED2 boost at Wesleyan?

Wesleyan’s presentation emphasized ED2 much, much more heavily than any of the other LACs we’ve visited (they made a big deal out of being able to switch to ED2 until Feb 1).

That’s because Wesleyan’s biggest overlaps, in terms of pure numbers tend not to be other LACs, but Yale, Brown and Chicago:

Wesleyan University overlaps = Brown, Tufts, Vassar, Yale, Chicago, Swarthmore, UC-Berkeley, & NYU.

With that kind of landscape, they expect a lot of ED1 rejects.
