<p>That really depends on the squad you are in, and even who, in the squad, you are talking to. Some of the training staff/hard core cadets still get a “semi” 7 basic response beginning to conversations. Most people don’t use them for more than a few weeks after basic. I don’t think most upperclassmen like them, because they just wind up wasting time. I usually just add a Sir or Ma’am to things.</p>
