<p>madbean, thank you for your words. Indeed this year has been what you call insane! My son applied to 9 schools and has been accepted to only 2. Looking back now I’m afraid we set the bar a bit too high, but we’re very grateful he got into one of his top choices for his major. It’s a huge relief it’s over and my son is looking ahead to a great college experience. And as to the other kids on this site, after all my visits and reading all their posts I’ve got to say that I’ve been pulling for each and every one of them to the point of gut-wrenching nervousness. They all seem to be great kids and should be very proud of themselves. Good luck to everyone and your future happiness.</p>
