<p>I really hate when people post threads that are like, “Tell me things that I should know about Rice.” It demonstrates laziness and an unwillingness to look at the hundreds of other threads that address specific topics. What, exactly, are we suposed to tell you about? Because I could probably write an entire tract on what my experience as a Rice student has been like, but about 80 percent of it would be irrelevant to you.</p>
<p>You’ll get a lot farther in life by learning how to ask specific questions instead of just expecting people to hand you what you want unprompted.</p>
