<p>I applied to Bryn Mawr as a transfer for Fall 2012 as well. I just recieved a letter yesterday saying that I was waitlisted? I didn’t even realize that this is possible, when you apply as a transfer student. The letter also asks if I’m interested in staying on the waiting list and that I would find out the final decision by JULY. that is way too far away! i don’t know any university who would still be releasing transfer decisions this late. that seems far too last minute to put together housing, financial aid, etc. </p>
<p>i was accepted to Lehigh University though, which I am thrilled about, and it looks like I’m probably not going to have a good chance with Bryn Mawr. Lehigh is my first choice but I did not get a good financial aid package so although I’m appealing, I may have to enroll at Rutgers University, if things don’t work out. It’s a shame because I really wanted to consider Bryn Mawr. I have to say though, this whole process has been very frustrating with how they released decisions so late. </p>
<p>anyway, for those who haven’t heard back, maybe you are in the same position as me with being waitlisted.</p>
