<p>I applied to transfer to five schools, including Bryn Mawr. BM had a special place in my heart/imagination, but I still haven’t heard from them and all of the other schools I got into (Columbia, Smith, Mount Holyoke) needed a response and deposit weeks ago. It seems frustrating for us, but also like a bad policy for the school; surely, most people applying are applying to other places to— waiting so long to release decisions is not the way to get the most competitive students, many of whom will have committed themselves to other places before they even get word from Bryn Mawr.</p>
