I’m applying EDII to Peabody (HOD major). I’ve looked at some stats and I’m pretty sure Vanderbilt is a very test score focused school. I plan to use this to my advantage, as I have a 1600/1600 Math+CR. However, it seems like it has gotten a lot tougher to get in. Look at this:

If you go to Peabody Undergraduate admissions, the acceptance rate dropped from 29% in 2009 to 18% in 2010. Also, the SAT score range shot up (75% went from 1460 to 1520). This supports my hypothesis that Vandy is an SAT focused school, but I could be wrong. Anyone know why selectivity increased so dramatically for Peabody?
