<p>To the OP, have him look at Curtis and at AVA, both in Philly. If he’s accepted there is no tuition at either, but he will have to pay for living expenses. At Curtis, he can get either a masters or a Diploma. AVA gives a diploma and it is a four year program, which is time a lot of young singers need for their voices to mature, it is a program that is all about having a career in Opera, and many of their students are already working professionally.
