<p>I am thinking about applying as a sophomore transfer but have a generally poor high school record (Cs for the first 3 years, all As and some Bs the last) and emailed admissions trying to find out if I would be a competitive transfer applicant after at least a year of academic excellence at my safety. Unfortunately I haven’t received a response yet. When I emailed Hampshire, however, I got a very thoughtful and encouraging reply. Umass is next!</p>
<p>Anyone know of poor HS/excellent College GPA transfers making it in to Amherst?</p>
