hey! congrats to your daughter! is she going to go there?

also was that her weighted GPA and what were her SATs?

I’ve been accepted to Eberly, and I have a question about housing. People in the forum are talking about sending in a housing deposit as early as possible because it can help reserve better living arrangements. I’m not sure if Penn State is where I want to go yet, but I received the Acceptance Notification letter in the folder that they sent. On it, it seems that you have to sign it and agree that you “choose to commit to Penn State University in the semester, campus and academic college/major indicated.” Is it possible to send in your housing deposit without committing to Penn State? I’m also not exactly sure of my major either, I’m just leaning towards it. Can I change that before I accept?

Thanks.

S got acceptance letter in the mail today!!! Status changed on 12/7 but wasn’t posted until 12/10, application complete mid to late October. He got accepted to the University of Scranton with Dean’s Scholarship (1/2 tuition) and is waiting for PSU-Schreyers, PSU-BS Science/MBA, and University of Maryland-College Park. PSU is his #1, Scranton was his safety (but merit $ will make him think about his choice), and Maryland was one I made him apply because it’s IS. His stats, as best I recall are:
