Anyone Applying ED1?

@MindySue, what do you mean by that? 12 out of every 14 people were rejected?

@lizmoore- today is 12/14. Like December 14. And I’m sure you’ll be fine :)

oh wow… I think my nerves are making me stupid or something hahah but thanks

thehangingtree: Haha I know I was just kidding of course we both care very much about college. The anthology is still really impressive though! I am sure you have a lot of colleges that will be more than happy to have you! Thanks and good luck!

Wait, so you guys are straight-up rejected? So you can’t apply Regular Decision?
If that’s so, then I’m so sorry. It really seemed like you’d get in. I hope that you find another school that fits you.

did everyone who was accepted receive an email?

blueorchids: I believe that only one person got an email and it was because of athletic recruiting. It’s still Pomona’s policy to send out their decisions by mail.

Still haven’t gotten mine yet. But with my stupid boarding school mailroom, it’ll probably be a while for me…

I just got accepted (not an athletic recruit) and I got an email. It was supposed to come after I received the letter, but it came before (haven’t got the letter yet). I emailed Admissions to make sure that it was real life and they said it was and apologized for sending the email before I got the letter. I am assuming everyone who was accepted got an email, since it was also to clarify some information that was apparently on the letter.
Yikes, that was confusing. Hope this helps!!

Rejected. Time to go explain this to all the teachers/friends who were so sure that I’d get in…sigh. Anyway, congrats to everyone who got accepted.

has anyone in the eastern US received anything? (excepting questbridge applicants)

S was accepted on West Coast. Frabjous day!

Congratulations to all admitted! Hopes for all deferred! Best of luck to those not offered either at this early point! I know many wonderful opportunities await. Keep the faith.
