<p>Hey bsmd11, my bro is in the VCU GMED program and there are some people who got the presidential scholarship and some who did not. my bro didnāt get it but still got into the program.
It just means you are a top percentage stats wise of VCUās applicants, but does not necessarily put you ahead of other people. Stats (GPA, SAT) arenāt the only thing VCU considers for GMED, they put a lot of emphasis on essays, med experience, maturity and your interview performance. </p>

<p>Yeah Iām pretty anxious as well. Accepted to Case Westernās Program so Iām not sweating it but I might want to stay closer to home and go to VCU !!</p>

I thought I was out of the running.</p>
<p>& Yeah, I live in the DMV Area as wellā¦but in the long run Case is a much better option.</p>

<p>In 2009 they came via email on 3/11 second Wednesday, all the agreement and acceptance documents came as well. </p>

<p>yes thatās when they came out 3/11/09, It should probably be this week. Probably they were earlier then because the program has been gaining popularity and is way more competitive now. </p>
