<p>bethievt–What still bugs me is that my daughter contacted Vassar by e-mail and phone on several occasions regarding an interview. Her e-mail was ignored and the curt, disinterested girl answering the phone in admissions kept repeating that they were still setting up interviews. (On March 10? I doubt it.) At the very least, my daughter should have been told it was not likely she’d get an interview. … On the positive side, we were contacted through CC by two very nice, out-of-area alums, both of whom assured us that interviews are not essential. Still, from my daughter’s perspective it would have been nice for her to talk with someone from Vassar, since the school could not give her an on-campus interview during our visit last fall. Oh, well.</p>
