Anyone else AP-Less like me?

What is a “failed” application at Dartmouth? Can you share what that means? As for APs, Harvard (and most private schools) requires your high school to send a school profile. If it is determined that your school does not offer AP classes then you can’t be measured by a standard your school doesn’t offer. But, a school profile (meaning the curriculum and rigor of the courses offered) does matter in trying to figure out if a student from a particular school can be successful if admitted. For kids, you just want to be admitted. But for Harvard, and schools like that, the key is not if a student can be admitted. The key is can a student graduate/matriculate once they are admitted. That’s why the college needs to know the rigor and standards of the high school all applicants attend.
