<p>I took AP Comp Sci in high school (independent study). Some people come in with multiple internships under their belt … A LOT of people have never programmed before and don’t know the difference between javascript and java. You’re already further ahead than the pack.</p>
<p>I knew loops and what inheritance was and stuff… nothing impressive. I could have skipped CSE 142 with my AP credit, but I retook it because I didn’t feel like my foundations were stable.</p>
