<p>I actually was planning on going pre-med while I was still in high school. If I knew I was going to ultimately go cs, I would invest so much more time in that (instead of medical internships and the like). I would be a doctor who can develop my own tools in the office (or work on open source integration projects for medical offices, etc).</p>
<p>I wish I knew that I ultimately wanted to go into industry when I was in high school. My time would be spent nailing down data structures, doing personal projects, and perhaps even intern somewhere. I envy you guys. ;)</p>
