Anyone else get the Aggie Student Weekend Trip Invite? Coming from Los Angeles?

No they haven’t SIR’d. they are technically waiting for some more decisions, but they are reaches coming from here out, so…

They haven’t registered for the meet and greet, because they already did a tour. If they had an overnight though, I’d want them to try it. I think that is the best way to know if you like a college. Did your son register for that before he got the weekend invitation?

My son’s stats (this one) are 3.72UCgpa soph and jr year, which goes up to 4.1 if you include his first semester Sr year grades (straight As with 5 APs). His SAT was 2230. His brother’s initial grades were higher but sat was a bit lower. However, I don’t know what else they might take into consideration.

In any event, have fun, and maybe we’ll all be there at decision day, after all! I do think we’d likely do the picnic though unless there is an overnight, the dates are better for us, for one thing.

I wonder if there are other overnight opportunities maybe where they don’t pay transportation…
