<p>I think only College Lodge has doors that open to the outside. Yeah, and bugs and mold. But the great thing about CL is that the kids spend a lot of time in the common area because, unlike the newer dorms, they don’t have private sitting rooms/suites. My son reports that CL is more social than the other dorms and it is harder for shy kids to “hide.” He’s going to be an RA in Macalister next year and I think he is going to miss the friendly CL atmosphere. As for bugs, this is South Carolina. Since when do bugs need an open door to find a way into your home?!</p>
