anyone had orientation?

The “discussion groups” are basically about helping you plan your course schedule, and the Morse Academic Plan. Also, you have a lot of group meetings about NYU, each other, and diversity. You have a LOT of time to bond with classmates, especially those in your orientation group. There is quite a bit of free time, especially during the 2nd and 3rd days. I found the first day to be a bit tiring. The placement tests are not hard. the math test is extremely easy, but i’m not sure about the language ones… I hear they’re all multiple-choice though. You don’t need to take the science placement tests if you aren’t planning on taking chem or bio. Seeing as you’re an english major, you probably wouldn’t want to take them.
