<p>Piercings are not about being different. It’s just another form of expression that can be chosen by someone.</p>
<p>I doubt a lot of people get piercings because they want to be “different.” Seeing as how a lot of people get piercings, it is certainly not anything new. It’s a personal choice of what someone wants to do with their body.</p>
<p>I heard that the cartilage closes up on the nose. It did for my friend. And they’re really small, so I doubt anyone would really notice if it didn’t. But you probably shouldn’t do it yourself, due to infection and the nose being a “dangerous area to get pierced,” as my mom says.</p>
