Just curious…, I’ve now seen two posts about acceptances after successful appeals of rejection from UofSC. (Assuming the last post also refers to SC and not CA.)
I don’t want to ask for details you’re not comfortable sharing, but I am curious if there is a UofSC specific situation or if this is happening elsewhere.
In past years the stories I’ve heard appeals were almost universally unsuccessful, barring extremely unusual circumstances.

Yes, U of SC for us…very surprised annd excited! Fairly unique challenge for my dtr so we opted to go for it.

Counselors reporting a handful of students who had been denied USC (So Cal) and appealed were accepted this week.
