Anyone know Seattle?

The boathouse is kinda cool, but Im still irritated that the land at the Seattle Center wasn’t used for something less touristy.

Near the airport: Hampton Inn (very good), Doubletree (pretty good), some Marriott and Hilton properties. All with shuttles to the airport where you can get to the light rail on the 4th floor of the parking garage (ask the shuttle driver to drop you off at Isle 1 and just take the elevator to the 4th floor and walk a short distance to the station). There is a Hoiday Inn right across the road from the light rail station, so check that, too.

Got a “cruise and stay” deal at Hampton inn in Tukwila for $200 per night that includes airport shuttle and transportation to the pier on Sunday. It also says the shuttle is available to drop guests at various attractions including public transportation. Sounds like that will work great!

Thanks for all the help!

Sounds like a good choice! :)

Sounds like a great deal, and convenient too. Seems perfect for you.

Have you tried the La Quinta in downtown Seattle? It’s clean, decent, and not too far from the Space Needle.

Looks like the OP made a nice choice - the reviwes for that Hampton have been mostly ok.
Thank goodness she did not go for this lovely downtown property:

Although the pool has been drained and stayed like that for a year, it makes you wonder what other corners the management had been cutting…

Seattle has some wonderful Bed & Breakfast places.

Is there still a ‘Red Lion Inn’ at the airport? Was a very nice place for a reasonable price, back in the day. Not some strip mall motel. They had a white tablecloth dining room which had a reputation for some fairly good cuisine.
