Anyone recieve fin aid package?

Please don’t pin all your hopes onto Marists financial aid package. We were sadly disappointed last year, even after reconsideration monies were due us, Marist still lagged behind my S’s other 2 top schools. Marist did not meet all our demonstrated need. Their upfront scholarship was lower than every other school (5) he was accepted to. (tuition was slightly lower @ Marist). However, my S is loving it there (Frosh) and is doing really well academically. He has made a ton of friends with like interests, and is happy to return after breaks. Guess that says it all. Go with your heart if you can financially, and don’t regret the bigger bucks offered elsewhere, it would be meaningless if you are unhappy. Transferring ends up costing more usually. Good Luck everyone! This is such a stressful time for y’all, I am not envying you! :)
