Hi, I was a junior year transfer 
Contrary to what people say, it’s definitely possible!! I wasn’t international but I am from the other end of the country as my school so definitely not a day student. My school had 5 new juniors, of which 3? were boarders, out of 50 applications. So definitely pretty hard, but not outright impossible! I was also accepted off of the waitlist which I know a lot of people say is kind of unheard of, so I am a bit of an optimist. If it’s something that you really want, then give it your best shot. I was super determined and things thankfully worked out in my favor. Most of the other people on this site that I was talking to who applied to transfer junior year got into schools as well, including some international. Good luck
