At my school, APES is a LOT of work. It’s hard to get a B. (Which I have :D; this is the only time I’m happy about a B.)The teacher uses ALL previous AP questions, and grades the essay questions on the test like an AP grader does. I’ve spent up to 8 hours on homework for just that class. It’s not a joke like everyone else is suggesting. However, the concepts aren’t difficult to master; it’s just a lot of memorization and work.

I haven’t taken AP Chem, but I have friends who have. It’s not too bad if you’re good at chemistry. However, if you’re not very strong in chemistry, don’t take it.
