Please remember that you may or may not be attending USC next year. While USC limits their AP credit to 4s and 5s, many other colleges accept threes for credit - including the UCs. In addition, UCs offer direct GE credit, so any applicants who are wondering if they should spend the ~$90, consider that even a community college course would cost more than that, and with the difficulty in getting classes at many UCs, your AP credit may be what helps you graduate on-time, if not early at many universities, including the UCs.

As for USC, my student came in with the maximum 32 units granted through AP credit, which meant she had sophomore status upon entry and junior status by second semester - giving her wonderful registration priority and plenty of room for a minor.
