AP exams for HS class of 2021

@yearstogo I haven’t seen any schools come out and say they won’t take the AP scores, but almost all the state schools have said nothing will change. I haven’t kept a list, but I’d be surprised to see any big change in schools changing course.

D took 2 tests today and internet cooperated. She has 1 tomorrow and 2 next week. Hoping for no technical difficulties. I am staying off internet/Netflix, etc while she is testing.

Update: We’re a couple of days into testing and many students at our HS reported uploading problems. Seems like the problems may be more widespread:

Hoping they can get this fixed by fall otherwise I’m not sure how an online SAT will be successful given the number of students who will be taking the exam at the same time.

D21 had no issues with her Calc BC exam, but D23 could not upload her photos for her Calc AB exam (question one). She has applied for a make-up test and is not the happiest of campers.

D21 has to do a retake because one of the two questions on the AP Physics C Mech test cut off in Android format. It referred to a picture and graph which didn’t display on the phone screen. Apparently it’s fine on laptop or iphone displays. Even though she will have to figure out how to type in equations and where the theta key is, she will use the computer next time. This is definitely a stress factory.

Is there a way to check on the college board website whether the answers were actually received (like a “Test complete” button)? S21 took the Calc BC test yesterday and indicated he didn’t incur any issues uploading pics of his responses, but his math teacher is telling everyone who had issues to register for the makeup test NOW. I was hoping to be able to confirm that S21’s answers were actually received but couldn’t find anything on the college board.

From one of the other posters (there are a couple of threads on the AP exam issue, so not sure which one) it sounds like even the customer service agents can’t tell exactly what, if anything, was submitted. Hopefully I misunderstood. This is a debacle.
