AP Exams Major FAQ's-- Read this before posting

For now, it will only apply to AP’s. Who knows?-they might extend it to the SAT (although the advantage of doing so is debatable).

Is it possible to take AP exams in different testing centers in the same year? (Different AP exams)

^Yes, that’s perfectly fine.

What kinds of AP awards are there? How can we qualify for them?

What if you have two exams on the exact same time AND date??

I’m pretty sure you never will have 2 AP exams scheduled for the exact same time and date. The College Board prepares a national schedule for the exams, so that none of them conflict.

Not true. I’m scheduled to take AP Chem and AP Enviro, which are both Week 1, Monday morning.

If anyone has this kind of scheduling conflict, he/she can just take one of the tests during the late-testing period at no extra charge.

Would it be a good idea to send a college, which you would really like to attend, your scores with the free score report? I’m a junior right now.

Q: Can you order your actual frq booklet and have a copy of the essays you wrote?

i still don’t get it… Well I lost both my student pack and my yellow lil ticket, which has my AP number on it.. Will I still be able to get my score on da phone during summer on July 1st??

@fantasma - yes - send a letter to AP Services with your name, address, SS # or AP # and $7 per exam (list what you want)

@isabelle94 you get em in the mail either way and I think you can use your SS# instead if you put it on.

Q. How can I recover my AP number?
A. Call their office at normal business hours at (609) 771-7300 or (888) 225-5427 (toll-free in the U.S. and Canada). They will ask you some personal questions to confirm your identity.

Does anyone know an approximate scale between subject tests and ap tests? For example let’s say I got a 700 on my chem subject test, what would that approximate to as an ap score?

i lost my ap number from several years ago and i didnt provide my ssn on the answer sheet, will it still be possible to recover my number?

I have these AP scores so far: World- 4; US- 3; Lang-3; Calc BC- 5. I am bummed about the d’s. I did get a 760 on the SAT ii in US History, and my writing scores are fairly good on the SAT/ACT (770 and 35 respectively). QUESTION: should I put down my AP scores on the Common App? All, just the ones above 3, or none? Thanks!

Isn’t this thread getting outdated… maybe a new one would be justified.

What will collegeboard do if AP Proctor files an incident report for playing coin toss game on TI-84 calculator?

“Q. Do you need your AP Number to recieve grades?
A. No, if you chose to put your SSN on your tests, but yes if you chose not to.”
I received my scores without my AP Number, and I didn’t put my SSN on my answer sheets. I think if you are registered on the College Board online site, you can use your username and password to get your scores - no AP Number required.
