AP/IB scores considered for transfers

Dear IrishLad23 : The policies expressed by Boston College state that the scores on your AP/IB exams are used for placement purposes only. The courses themselves are used to evaluate the rigor of your High School curriculum and GPA against all others in the application process.

[Advanced Placement - Boston College](http://www.bc.edu/admission/undergrad/process/advstanding.html)

The fact that you completed an IB diploma is a positive, but no more so than someone having achieved an AP Scholars designation. Hope that this helps to clarify the situation based on your question.
