<p>@ The Government: I disagree. Self-studying demonstrates not only dedication and determination, but also the much-desired ability of self-perseverance. Even with 10+ APs after senior year (which I’m aiming for), adcoms won’t look at it as an attempt to pad my resume, but rather as an attempt to get ahead in education/life and go beyond what is merely offered to you on a silver plate.</p>
<p>@ TomJones: I’m studying for 5 APs over spring break as well; we are going to be BUSY! (So much for the planned spring break vacation to Cancun–guess I’ll put it off till next year :p)</p>
