AP Spanish and US Gov credit

For the AP Spanish exam, will I pass the Foreign Language Competency Requirement only if I pass BOTH Language and Literature? Or can I pass just one of them?

And for US Gov, do I have to take the Comparative Gov exam as well to earn credit?

Spanish: Passing one of them suffices.
Gov: Yes, you need a 5 on comparative and US to get an elective credit.

thank you!

Not sure if they changed it, but you needed a 4 on ap spanish to test out of language reqs.

oops, my information is out of date. they changed their policy regarding both tests in question for this upcoming year.
