<p>It sounds as if you are assuming you need to know the credits prior to orientation. That is wrong. Advisors know scores are/are not available for many prior to orientation. They will ask you what AP tests you’ve taken, and what you expect to receive. </p>
<p>You don’t need the credit prior to orientation. You just need to know what tests you’ve taken so you don’t take a class for which you might receive AP credit. It will appear on your transcripts later in the year. The advisors have access to your transcripts, but they are not responsible for updating them. I believe the registrars office is responsible for transcripts and updating them for AP credits, etc. </p>
<p>As some one said, just make sure you have College Board send your results to IU. I believe there is/was an option to have ALL College Board test results sent at one time.</p>
