AP vs. IB, which is more hardcore?

It really depends on the class you know! I take both IBs and APs, so i know. AP Bio, Lit, Chem, Physics, Calc…they’re all so much FREAKING harder than the IB version of those courses. Believe me, IB is so much more relaxed. You get like a year and a half to turn in your IAs…like ***!! lol. oookay, in college u’d prolly have to turn that kinda stuff in within a few weeks. what a joke. Also take into consideration that AP is a one year course, where 2 years worth of material has been squashed in. Whereas the “IB” people take their time to learn their stuff, AP is a rush. You either get it and move on or you don’t. AP requires a lot of self-motivation and talent. IB, you can get through without doing your homework. Except of cousre for those math and science courses. Although IB requires all that extra c.r.a.p, which is supposed to expand your knowledge on the subject, when in reality it’s just a waste of your time…I’d much rather vote AP anytime!!! It will work you wonders if you really like the subject, because there’s such a strong focus on it, and you actually feel involved in what’s going on in class. AP courses become a part of you, because it’s more like a test after test and grinding lessons day after day on stuff that really matters. APs are so much up-to-date, while IBs are such gung-ho c.r.a.p. Of course, except for a few courses…i dunno, but it’s just cos IB Chem is the only IB class where i actually learn stuff.

Sometimes I wonder, is IB a scam?
