<p>anovice, IB isn’t so widespread that it will put kids whose schools don’t offer IB at a disadvantage. I wouldn’t worry about it - as long as you take the most challenging courses (presumably AP), colleges will view you in the same way, I assume. In my minds, AP = IB … IB is definitely more hardcore and I think the work is too excessive and often unnecessary, as I’ve said, but colleges view the same with similar mindset, I think.</p>
