SunnyFlorida22, you are not going to stop worrying about it, so you might as well get it checked. If it turns out to be innocuous you will be able to relax.
Not to scare you any further, but it could be as simple as a benign ovarian cyst! Go check it out pronto. If it is appendicitis, it will not go away. The longer you wait, the more invasive the surgery will get. Most appendix removals are done laparoscopically - with only 3 small incisions. That said, I’d take surgery any day of the week over the you know what.

Thanks all for all the support and good wishes. Yes the GF is a real sweetheart! He is doing much better now. Scary about all the different ways appendicitis can present itself.
