<p>You chose… wisely. The thing is, my son really liked Rice. He was afraid, when he was applying, that the East-Coast schools he selected might be too pretentious. Rice seemed a lot like Northwestern, but with better weather during the school year (forget summers!). As it turns out, he fell in love with Brown once he visited it, especially that school’s tendency to poke fun at itself.</p>
