Application Notification Timeframe

Hi there,

Everyone at Mizzou has been wonderful if I have called or e-mailed. Everyone was great at answering questions on the phone or giving me an extension if it was someone else I needed to talk to.

I’ve also had someone give me their e-mail address when I’ve asked (due to inquiring about a Dual Enrollment class in Pennsylvania - we wanted to make sure the community college and course was transferable). It was easier to e-mail her rather than play phone tag with her.

For housing - Don’t worry, those messages on the main site was for 2009-2010 incoming freshman. Our kids won’t get to pick housing until around March or so, but I did see something somewhere that sometime in October we should get some kind of information about housing. Maybe that is when they will have information on FIG’s, etc for that year.

I would call if you didn’t get a letter after applying. My daughter applied online on 8/31/09, and her letter was dated 9/3/09. She hasn’t received an “official” admitted letter, but she was admitted online and could go in and “accept” online. Her online acceptance went into the system somewhere between Sept 18-24th.

I tried to go in and pay the enrollment fee, but I got blocked due to too many attempts to log in - for some reason, the system has been really tempormental. It wasn’t taking the student number on her letter. It says I have to call so I’ll try doing that this week.

Once you accept in Myzou you can go in and add emergency parent information, get their school e-mail addresses and log into the e-mail account via Outlook Live. Not a lot is in the myzou area yet for them, but I’m imagining as time goes on more info will be available to them.
