Application Problem *sigh*

happyface2002: What I am referring to is what I remembered (and then went back to look at and copy) of an earlier reply by you stating “I was planning on sending off my app ON dec. 1st but i forgot to press SUBMIT, leading to me sending it off two weeks late”. This was for Priority Consideration I am guessing (UM deadline of Dec. 1), not RD, but that is what I am talking about. I am not saying if you are to blame or not, but you have put yourself in a bad situation if you repeatedly try to apply to colleges on or just before the deadline, as you give no room for error. And if UGA was your top choice, I would have expected you to take care of your application well before the deadline, and to make sure everything was taken care of.

Second, just because other people share bad information does not give you the okay to give out bad information, especially if the correct information is right there for you to see on the UGA website ([UGA Undergraduate Admissions - Top Ten UGA Admissions Urban Legends](http://www.admissions.uga.edu/myths/index.html)) where it specifically states “Admissions standards are exactly the same for out-of-state applicants as they are for in-state applicants. UGA does not have a cap on the number of out-of-state students that can be admitted.” I understand that sometimes people might give you bad information, but being the one to then spread that bad rumor does not help anyone.
